Drill powered case trimmer (or combo) you like?

My Lyman (after a few thousand trimmings) had the plastic shim that the cutting arm rides against start sliding in and out with the arm. This happened soon after I got the power adapter.

I really like Lee's design, and no measuring needed, but the locking design is a pain.

I am just curious on designs that base trimming on the whole case length, not just neck-to-rim that you prefer...

    1) What trimmer/combos of different MFRs together do you use?

    2) Has anyone had an issue with trimmed brass in shoulder-guided drill trimmers, or am I just falsely thinking it will not trim FL correctly due to the case stretching lower than the shoulder (where case-head separation eventually happens)?

(I would eventually like the Dillon trimmer attached to a vacuum, however physical silver is at a 5 year low... and I am trying to stack like a pirate...)

I started with the CTS and paid about $80 for one in .223 and one in .308

They wiorked great, but Later I went to the EZ-Trimit that Bronco was able to swing a deal with. I like THAT one better. It uses ball bearings instead of a nylon bushing and does not scratch the hell out of my brass.

I use mine on a drill press.
7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...

I just used My TRIM IT I and i must say i am quite pleased with it. They also make a TRIM IT II that deburs, chamfers, and trims in one pass. I got version I trimmer, i do everything else by hand. I used mine in a drill.

I've used a CTS to trim over 4,000 LC 5.56 cases and it's still going strong. Can't comment on others.
