    Re-crimp

So I reloaded some 38 special the other day only to discover that I had bought a taper crimp set(?!?!?!?) when I need a roll crimp for my revolver! so the question is can I re crimp or should I pull the projectiles and start over(I bought another die set with the correct crimp)?
I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it.

If they are not HOT loads, just go shoot them. If you must, you can recrimp them with a roll crimp but, most likely it is not needed.

Taper will work just fine, use roll crimp next time.

Nice Rig Sir, I often wish I still had my 67 Bronco. Ours, were the real Broncos. Before Ford decided to stretch them into Ford Blazers.

I knew a girl in high school whose father knew/did work for Bill Stroppe. I was never sure what the relationship was between them, but it was both friendly and financial as I understood it. Her Bronco, done over by Stroppe, was maroon, not the red, white and blue norm. I loved that Bronco....the girl dated both my little brother and my best friend.

On topic, so long as you are not using a very slow powder, the taper crimp should be fine.

                    It's still just a Ford.
