    need info...

    I just obtained a bunch of 7.62x51, head stamped 15 FLB 81
    Anyone know the origin and bullet grain?
    This is non metallic.
    I think it is ball from argentina.

    Mmmm.. FAL food.

    If it's from Argentine, then it's not a very common round for whatever reason. I don't believe I've come across any in all my years. Your best bet would be to cruise the Fal Files. If you can't find the info you seek there, then you probably won't find it.

    If you're lucky, it'll be on par with South African or Portuguese. If you're unlucky, it'll be another Indian. Verify the quality if nothing else.

        The Brazillian and the Pakistan were the worst ones. Even so, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat if I could go back in time and get it for about $100/1000 again.
