I wouldn't worry about lead and reloading. At least as far a clean components are concerned.

The real lead exposure is due to the primer combustion products. Perhaps more care when handling lead bullets, but I'd not fear with jacketed/plated bullets.

That's awesome! I got 3 boys and they like to shoot. I've been trying to get them to spend some time reloading so they'll know what it takes to make a single round.

Gotta say, I hope to share my enjoyment of reloading with my son some day. I can imagine the kind of opposition that would get from anti's, but I'm actually interested to hear the concern's of fellow shooters?
