I use 25 gr of Win 748, CCI #41 (556 mil spec) primers, with 55gr-bt on my dillon. ARs are quite finicky and it takes time to get a properly sized load. I have found that I need to set the die all the way to the end of the threading to get a really good sizing. In fact, if you are looking to produce NATO spec, you will find most NATO 556 to be very undersized (bottom of the size tolerance for 556) as to fit in all the dirty chambers. For this reason I tend to size the hell out of the brass till it eases in and out of the 223 chamber gauge. While this does reduce the lifespan of the brass... at least it always works. PM me if you need any more help, Im glad to give it.

You don't need benchrest or match primers for regular FMJ plinking loads, it's a waste of money.

I've used Winchester and CCI primers and have never had an issue with them.
