Any find a use for these?

As you can tell it's the plastic holder for primers. Has anyone found another use for them? Are they good for anything other than holding primers until you spill them? Seems wasteful to throw all of them away.

Steel shot shell reloaders will use them to precisely measure a number of large steel pellets in a given load, such as 141 #2 steel pellets for a 1-1/8 oz. load.

Leave one in 100 and tape off 59 holes in another to give you 41. You dip the holders in a bowl of shot and they will fill themselves to the exact number of holes.

The only other use I can think of when a homeless person asks you for money, you can throw them at them.

I've been using them to hold 22 cal bullets for loading.

Also use them for lubing the same 22 cal cast boolits .

And help in adding gas checks to cast 22 cal boolits , put a gas check ( they are small) into cup place boolit on top press down to set them up for running thru the sizer / installer . Easier than using tweezers to hold them .

You can press some white modeling clay about the same size on top of them and then take it out, splash it with some red paint and run around telling everyone you just skinned a golf ball...

You can put a little toothpick flag in the corner of one and place it upside down near an anthill and pretend it is a fema camp and then blow it all up...

You can fill it with water and make some cool ice cubes.

Oh yes, Coasters will work too maybe. Maybe even use them to place underneath table and chair legs so they do not scrape the floor.

Spacers/ Shims for something might work too.

Why do you throw buck shot at homeless people?

I can see throwing an apple or something, but buck shot I always put into my wrist rocket and launch it at homeless people. It tends to fly about 193fps which is not enough to break skin per paintball specs but I know I have pierced the skin of an oppossum a time or two as a kid with it. But then again, those oppossums did not have clothes and a layer of crap around their asses inside the clothes... :\

I throw them in the plastic recycle bin.

If I can save just one earthworm from contacting them and maybe getting cancer, then it would be worth it.

I just threw 30 boxes out. I was collecting them to keep track of how many rounds I reload, but a piece of paper taped to my reloading area takes up a lot less space.

I was never fond of handling used primer trays because that would probably be the place where you would have the highest chance of contacting lead styphnate. Even more than soot from vibratory tumbling or the used dryer sheets that catch the soot.

I wash them thoroughly. Then spray with Pam. Spread peanut butter over top and into the holes. Wipe off top so you have little micro peanut butter balls. Freeze. After frozen, take out of freezer and twist. Frozen peanut butter balls fall out.

Now, whatever the hell you do with frozen micro peanut butter balls is beyond me. But if you ever need mini frozen peanut butter balls, this is it.
