    All in one caliber conversion

I'm looking for a single tool that for converting .223 brass ro .300 black out and also for outside neck trimming for necking down .508 to .260 Remington. Ideally I want something that is motorized or powered by a drill, but if it's to costly a hand crank will work. All ideas are appreciated Thanks.

I'm confused on your .223 to .300 conversion. Are you talking about after you have formed and cut it to (near) length or are you looking to somehow go from one to the other? I have never heard of a single item that will trim from 223 to 300 without changing over to another piece of gear.

I use a WFT for trimming after I have cut them to length on my Harbor Freight saw. It was relatively inexpensive at $70, connects to a drill and works pretty slick.

          For .223 to 300BLK.

The New RT1500 Electric Case Trimmer is designed to handle the heaviest trimming jobs, including converting 223 Remington into 300 AAC Blackout. Makes short work out of trimming large quantities of brass.

For the .308 to .260, IIRC, only a few turn of the neck trimmer will do the trick.

I am too cheap to spend $325 to trim some brass.
Have your gunsmith run a 3/8 inch end mill into a piece of worn out 30 caliber barrel. You need to put a collar with a set screw in it for adjusting the length. Put a 223 case in one end and cut it down to the proper length then tighten down the set screw.
You can use a hand held drill to speed things way up.

I'm too cheap as well and by the time you add all the other "required" dillon pieces you'll be in considerably more. Since I'm also too lazy to search out a gunsmith so I bought a $30 harbor freight saw, a 300 blk jig off amazon, and a worlds finest trimmer. $100 investment and I have all the brass I need.

Too bad the wft only trims where as the giraud trimmer trims, chamfers AND deburrs, speeds things up MUCH quicker.
