No need to apologize. Cannoneer is correct. Firearms are allowed, but the open carry, concealed carry laws, and firearm and ammo transportation laws of California still apply. Discharging a firearm, BB gun, or even pepper spray is prohibited. I think this pertains more to allowing people to pass through national parks, if they have firearms in there vehicle.
To the OP, this means, that it is okay to have ammo, or the components of ammo at your campsite in a national park. So have fun reloading, wherever you go. Unless it is a campground which prohibits having ammunition, which is I think would be a rare occurrence.
