Good advice right there.
That packaging even predates my trips to Bower's. I used to buy 700x in IIRC 14 pound tin cans. Which were about the size of a small bucket. I think they were like $50 a can.
Note that they made it a definite point to label it as "Newly Manufactured" powder.

I have a large fiber drum of Hodgdon powder, the earliest date on the drum from Railway Express is 1966, then I have a paper bag that held 1 pound of powder. Then there was the day Bruce Hodgdon came to our house.
