    FS reloading did it again...

So I placed the order yesterday and I saw that the 6 cavity 105gr 358 swc mold was "back-ordered 3 days out".

That means it will take a few days longer to get to me right?

Well they lied because today I got the UPS tracking number and links for the entire order...

Once again, If you go to FS and they say they are back-ordered, that USUALLY means that it will take a day or two longer... I should have all of my stuff by next wednesday or sooner... :\

All right! That mould will also help to stretch your supply of lead.

Let us know how things turn out when you get it. It is possible to make 6,000 good boolits in a day with one of those things. I know, because one nice, cool winter Saturday, I did just that.

Yeah, looks like it. It was an all-day session, starting shortly after sun-up, with breaks in between for the pot to melt new batches of lead. Lower back was a little bit tired by sun-down. But it lasted all year.

This is what 6-cavity moulds can do. The initial estimate of 5,000 was off a bit; it was indeed about 6,000.

So I really have to work to beat that then...

Nah it is all good. 6k boolits would be nice though, that would only be about 91 lbs of lead...

Mine shoot great as-cast and tumble lubed in my 9x19s. Looks like you'll be powder-coating them?
In my 9x19s, good loads have been 3.2 and 3.9 gn 231/HP38 and 4.5 gn PB at 1.038" COL.
Never loaded it in .38 Spl.

Oh nice, you have a PB load mentioned. I have an old bottle of PB that I am getting rid of, I was gonna pour it all into the .45 loads, but I will hold off and do it in 9mm instead.

PC them? What ever gave you that idea?

Today I finalized an order for bright red, black and white vein and gold vein.

Hopefully tomorrow or this weekend I can lock in the neon yellow, emerald green, mayan gold black, fda black and pearlescent white...
