Like the title says, anyone have any recommendations for .45ACP in which the tip of the bullet is round, 185-200 grain, and feeds reliably in a 1911? This is going to be plinking ammo.

Already looked at freedommunitions and everything in 200GR is out of stock. Remington UMC 185 and Speer Lawman in 185 do not have a round bullet tip
And I'm not interested in reloading at the moment.

When in doubt, Winchester White Box rules them out.

But honestly since I have been reloading, I have not had to make any such purchase in a long time.

Now that I am casting, my price per .45 has gotten RIDICULOUSLY cheap AND the cool part about it is that now I got the scoop on the best mold to cast boolits so I got the 200gr Lee TL wadcutter that EVERYONE loves to shoot out of their 1911 and other 45s because they are accurate and well, too bad you are not into reloading.

I have now found that if I can not find my ammo cheap enough, then I make it. And it really is WAY better. You should consider stopping into a reloading clinic one day just to see how it works and maybe consider heading down that path.

Low recoil. Planning on bringing new shooters and unfortunately I don't have any guns in 9mm haha

Most people feel less recoil with the heavier ammo. Higher velocity lighter weights feel snappier. You can try changing recoil springs or find someone with .38 revolvers. Commend you on training new shooters.
