    Need Load data Power Pistol

Looking for load range for Alliant Power Pistol 9mm Luger.
I use no more that 6 gr behind 115 gr LRN bullet very succesfully.
I use the old rule to start low ,reducing by about 10% with any loads.
I have some 124gr Copper Plated RN and can only find FMG and Speer 124gr GDHP bullets.
Any help? My pistol is a Ruger SR9.

Plated uses cast lead data, unless "heavy plated" and mfg. says to use jacketed data.
For lead and plated, I show 4.3gr as starting load, 5.0gr as accuracy load, and 5.7gr as MAX load.
With jacketed bullets, I show 4.3gr starting, 5.4-6.0gr as accuracy loads, and 6.1-6.5gr as MAX loads from various manuals.

I'm using 5.2 grn's with Extreme 124 grn RN, makes power factor out G17 and G34, no cycling issues either.

Been using 5.7 and a 124 extreme. Love it.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

WOW! I was loading between 5-5.7 on my 230gr .45 ACP. You mean I can load that same powder for 9mm too? SWEET!

                    That powder is hella cool!

I really like Power Pistol as well.. I use it on 9, 10mm practice ammo, 38spc, and it even bumped Unique off the bench for loading .45 (actually they were really close, PP just meters better )

I dont think you can fill a case with enough pp in 9mm to be dangerous. Its slow, loud, flashy and fun! The volume for saami loads still fills that case up.

Some posters on brianenos are reporting 8+ grains to makr major without pressure signs. Obviously dont start there, but its good to know how high you can really go. The sub 6gr loads arent going to be a problem.

Here's my load data for Power Pistol and X-treme 124gr RN, with WSP, 1.150" OAL, out of an M&P Pro. All velocities are 10-round averages.

                              4.6: 974.9 FPS
                              4.8: 1021.1
                              5.0: 1071.2
                              5.2: 1086.5

I used 5.0gr as an IDPA load for a while, until I switched to 147gr.

                              Hope this helps.
