Windows 9 "new" start menu ?

I don't mind Windows 8. It didn't take me long to figure out how to get by without the start button.

With that being said, it's a completely stupid idea to get rid of it and make it the convoluted mess it is now. They are still even throwing in the metro crap because they are too proud to just bring back what people want. They've been making these slow concessions, lol.

I use classic shell to get a start menu and disable most of the popup bars. The tiles, start page, popups, charms, and metro crap are just stupid. I see that they kept part of it for the 10 start menu, but I would want all of it gone. I don't use bing or a microsoft account either. I have a google account just because I have androids and use youtube, but I don't have google+.

It is fine to add new options, but let those of us who like the old but efficient GUI set it up the way we want. I don't need new and flashy, especially pop up menus and apps that lock me into full screen. Some of 8.1 is nice and it runs good, but these software/web designers just can't leave anything alone. They make it less user friendly. The new trend is to do away with text labels. How the hell am I supposed to remember all the different icons for multiple devices, multiple OS's, and multiple web pages?
