Source for quality Cat-5 patch cables? 120' POE

Hey Guys, can anyone recommend a source for good quality Cat5 cables? These will be used for a POE IP camera set-up. I need 8, 120 footers. Is there a specific spec that works best with POE? (568B/568A/crossover)

Sorry I do not know a good place. I agree with the other member. Buy a crimp tool. It is very straight forward.

If you haven't purchased already ...re consider the spool, crimping after the cable is run is much easier than having to drill larger holes to run pre crimped cable

50 Bucks for custom length and smaller holes in your house VS 153 for pre crimped cables that are not exact length and require larger holes to be drilled - I think its a no-brainer

You'd be better off putting a biscuit on either end and punching the long runs into them, then running short patches from the jacks to the cameras and switch. Doing it all in one long continuous cable is asking for headaches down the line...

Get bulk cable and crimp your own ends. They sell 1k' for around $70 all you need then are end pieces and a crimper... (which they ALSO sell for dirt cheap)

Being as how I have the absolute pleasure of working just a mile away from monoprice, I thoroughly enjoy shopping there online and having them ship to the store.

I mean, WOW... $.48 cables! I have to go pick up a 15' USB 2.0 cable ($5.xx) tomorrow. This place is just an awesome place to shop. They have excellent prices. They also do not know how to run a retail business very well since there are always people there waiting and they have an ITTY-BITTY square section of retail stuff. MAn, with those prices I would love to see that space quadrupled and browse through some more of their clearance things...

The spool is the best way to go if you have a lot to run.

If you were closer, I would let you have the cable from my spool and loan you my tools. I have tons of it laying around.

It depends on the application, but 568B on both sides is pretty much what is seen across the industry for anything plugged into a switch.

Why? We run tons of lines doing PoE on Cat5e/Cat6 UTP without any issue. It's not that much power being pushed over the things.

I'm being snobby with the molded ends on the pre-terminated cables and I'm not worried about drilling a bigger whole since the pigtail coming off of the camera is bigger than the molded boot. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to order soon, just getting all my components finalized.
