....you prolly got some "gaming" virus on it that's sucking up all it's resources for it to shut down in defense.

Still don't head the fans going tho
I have an Asus G75JW, same chassis as yours. They are extremely effective at cooling. It draws air from keyboard area and then blow out from the rear. During demanding games, the fans will really kick up. My guess is that one of the fans had died. Try to keep the bottom panel off and see if they spin.

Sounds like your computer is shutting off to prevent heat damage due to fans being clogged or damaged by dog hair.

Yea so you know the sound I'm talking about. Yea I haven't heard it in a while. Not that I listen all I really hear is the hard drive going.. I'm thinking both went capoot.

I feel some exhaust head blowing out the back but again its silent and still pretty warm and I'm just web browsing right now..

Overheating issue no doubt. If you have a fan, lay it flat and put your laptop on it. Then put it on full blast and more than likely, your laptop won't shut down on its own.

they make cheap laptop 'trays' with built in fans tha continually blow air in the bottom of your laptop.

To test for an overheat issue, plop your laptop on an AC vent at your house.

The problem is finding the replacement fans. If you can take the dead ones off, maybe you can google its manufacture/model # to see if a spare can be found off ebay. Since Asus has been using this chassis for a long time, chances are good that there is a market for spare fans.

                    Good luck.

Exactly how much porn would you say gets browsed through on a daily basis? I am guessing that is the problem with MANY MANY laptops owned by men, especially married ones.

Like the others have said a fan must have died and the computer is shutting off to protect its giblets.

I have a g53sx ...ROG laptop as well.

Clean out the laptop internals, check the fans, and update the drivers. When you update the drivers it will download an Nvidia app called GeForce experience. There you can optimize titanfall and the other games you play to work flawless on your laptop.

I have a samsung SSD(primary hard drive) installed on my g53sx and use the original hard drive as storage now. Might want to look into doing that as well. The laptop runs insanely fast and helps titanfall run excellent on the rig.

It's a laptop...and I don't think that videocard can handle Titanfall so you are most likely overstressing the system and causing it to overheat.

I'd try the other suggested fixes, but you may just be asking too much of a laptop-gaming or otherwise. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M is impressive for a laptop, but it can't handle everything that a desktop GPU can.
