Am I the only one that VirtualBox always bombs every 2-3 updates?!?!?!

It seems that every 2-3 updates to VirtualBox, Additions, or extension packs then the application stops running smoothly (w/out errors), the vDisk is corrupted, OR a combo of the two?

    WTF?!?!??!

The only problem I've ever had with VirtualBox is when I did an upgrade from Mac OS 10.8 to 10.9 (as opposed to a clean install) and VirtualBox didn't clean off old kernel extensions when I updated VBox for 10.9 compatibility.

If you’re a Mac user like me, who uses VirtualBox to run guest / virtual Operating Systems within OS X, you will most likely encounter errors with VirtualBox under Mavericks, specifically if …

Other than that, VBox is always stable for me.

It looks like the application VirtualBox 4.3.14 itself has issues either by itself or after doing the extension pack upgrade. I backrev'ed to 4.3.12 and could run a VM again... unfortunately I am so used to blowing them out and starting over whenever I had an issue that I had already deleted the VMs, after reinstalling 4.3.14 like 4-5 times. :'(

VirtualBox 4.3.14 had all kinds of problems with my Kaspersky anti-virus. Are you getting the Error relaunching VirtualBox VM process: 5? If so, this link will let you download 4.3.15, which fixed the problems for me.
