my computer will not load some websites

nope, cant find a solid answer on the internet as to why it wont load pages or pictures. scanned my computer with AVAST, no viruses found.

So you completely ignored the entire HOSTS idea?



And none of these items open in any browsers?

Okay I am gonna go out on a limb here...

1. You have a machine running windows XP that is choking on loading up the tumbler page.

2. You have a hosts file that might be a bit on the restrictive side and as such is not letting things through.

You never bothered to d/l and install firefox or any other browsers to test them out and see if it is consistent.

If you can not perform basic troubleshooting that is being asked then maybe you should take your computer to a paid professional and let them bill you. Sometimes I think that people do not value free info so they need to pay for that same info in order to follow it...
