Seriously, I was an iphone user for years. My business and my aging eyes dictated a larger screen. I went with the Samsung Note 3. BIG PHONE! Took about a week to get used to it. I can't imagine going back to the small screened phones. I use it more for its computer than a phone anyways.

This. I spend maybe 5 minutes total a month on my phone actually talking to people, the bulk is using it as a mini computer. This is really the way most people are going nowadays. I don't know anyone other than my mom and businesses that even bother to leave voicemail anymore. If they don't pick up you just text them.

I don't mind buying the 5s, but if there is a chance they will come up with a water resistant iPhone a few months later I would be willing to wait.

In five years there have been six iPhones. A guess, yeah... But a pretty good one.
