Looking for a file structure viewing program.

I have a 3 terabyte Network attached storage that I use for media storage/media server duties

the problem that I am coming across mainly deals with tv shows, I have many seasons of many shows a lot of which sporadically I try to update while offsite to the current episodes (no internet at my house unless connected to my phone).

My problem is this I can typically not remember what episodes I already have, Ie Simpsons season 14 episode 6 is the latest (just random example). Is there a program (windows 7 64 bit) that I can give it a folder (tv shows) and have it show me file names of the folders and subfolders and files? preferrably viewable via a file structure as if i was attached to the hard drive (click to enter folder).

Buffalo offers this service but it requires the NAS to be online (no internet at home unless connected to my phone).

    Thanks in advance

Do you have access to this device through a file share?

If so, open a command prompt (cmd.exe) and do the following (replace "x" with your drive letter)

    x:
    dir /s /b > %userprofile%\desktop\directorylist.txt

This will output a text file to your desktop named "directorylist.txt" that contains a full path to every file on drive "x:"

    dir = directory list command
/s = switch to display all files in subfolders of current directory
/b = display brief output (no dates, filesizes, etc.)
    > = pipe output

You need Total Commander, or a freeware alternative like "MultiCommander".

I use a program called treesize pro.

There is also a CATFISH catalogging program, but even though it is free, it is older and they need to fix the coding because I just broke mine by having too many catalogs...

          Nice! Catfish is pretty sweet.

I've been using a program called Recollection for years but it's pretty buggy, sometimes crashes and frequently loses information.

I've used Tree size free as well with good success.
