    Any help would be awesome!

Hey computer guys! I got a tough one for ya! What kind of ram is this? All i could find out was that it was made by "Di tech Networks" and It is server ram I think. There are no indicators of the ram memory size or speed. There are only 2 numbers on these sticks (I have 4 total). one set of numbers is:

    DDCRW2942101

    other one is:

    002-0299-10 REV B1

Ive looked all over google and found nothing like em.

It's older than that. It looks a PC133 SD RAM module.

It's older than that. Look at the heat sink on it. I'll second that it's SDRAM. It's probably from the mid to late 90s.

But then why would they put 2006 on the ram if its older? that doesnt make sense to me :/

Not every 4 digit number equates to a calendar year. Additionally Julian date codes would be used rather than an obvious date of manufacture.

While I appreciate the fact that you called us computer guys (as opposed to nerds or geeks or other things).

I can not add much to this conversation. I think it looks like something from a server or printer. My guess is to count the contacts and see how many PINS it is, then match that up with 240 pin or 184 pin or whatever...
Did I count 85 pins? Another thing to do is to remove the cover/shield on the ram chips and get the numbers off the memory chips and that might give you a clue.

OH, I know what it is, It is obsolete...

I assume parity/ECC with that extra chip (as one side "7 are clipped to the heatsink", one free, and the small one for parity).

With the 10 pins on one side, I just counted some PC-133 here that is dust-covered in the computer/reloading room and it has the same number of pins on the small-number-of-pins on the side of the key closest to the edge.

I assume it is "parity" (old ECC) and either PC-100 or PC-133.

"DDCRW2942101" is probably a serial number.

It is probably not worth selling on eBay if that was the reason for the thread...

...a more descriptive thread title would be fresh-er-shist for getting help next time...

Yeah, that looks like a 168 pin PC-100 SDRAM stick. It more or less belongs in a museum at this point. I mean, I GUESS there might be some computer guy trying to keep some old computer running, but your chances are zero to almost zero in finding that guy. Who know if those sticks even work. I'd say you could toss 'em safely.
