Tmobile new 30$ unlimited data plan

Anyone have the new 30$ Unlimited 4g data plan with unlimited text and 100min talk time.

Anyone know if this would work in a mobile hot spot card?

I'm on their site looking for it. Do you have a link to the promotion?

If you use your phone as a hotspot you have to pay $5 extra I believe. I need to get a new Phone and Plan. We Pay way too much and use way too little of our unlimited data/talk.

My wife has this plan. It worked for a few hours as a Mobile Hotspot, then T Mobile detected it, and shut it down. I think that you have to pay extra for this feature.

I plan to use this on a nexus 4. What happens when they shut it down? Are you still able to use your phone Internet? Does it re set it self each month?

My understanding is a mobile browser is different from a PC browser and they detect that and shut you down unless you cough up the $15 monthly tethering fee. BUT, Tmobile has some new plans that don't require the tethering fee. Google "Tmobile tethering fee" and you'll see it. Good luck if you can understand what it includes, I can't.

I've seen discussion of using a VPN; Virtual Private Network to spoof Tmobile. Don't know if it works, doing more research.

I have been a customer at TMobile for 7 years now. the used to be my favorite company I dealt with it now and things are really going to hell. Customer service is non-existent and if you have a problem they are really unwilling to work with you at all. Please don't use them at all and when my contract is up I am done.

Same with me. Going on 8 years with them, and when my "contract" is up this November, they're gone from my life.

They changed the terms of my contract a few months ago without telling or asking me, and my bill went up $30 for less service, with no ability to tether or use it as a wifi hotspot...which was part of my originaly plan that has not changed in forever.

Pissed me right the F off, especially when I called their customer support and they lied to me about it, and offered a "deal" of a hundred bucks a month for unlimited texting, 2gb/month data, and the ability to use my phone as a wifi hotspot. And that was their "thanks for being a customer for so long" gift. Eff them.

I've said this about every cell phone company I've ever been with. I received a letter from TMobile last night indicating my cell phone insurance is now $11.99 a month in lieu of $7.99 due to the cost of our new phones. Effn bastages.

You can still use the phone internet and all of the data features. You just cannot use it as a hot spot. I tried again this month and it still is blocked as a hot spot.
