yep. anyone with a semi-decent camera, a good telephoto lens and a motorized tripod/base (ie telescopes have this already) and you too can get gigapixel panorama's. just don't expect to have everything match in a busy environment.

This picture was taken with a 70,000 x 30,000 pixel camera (2100 Mega Pixels.) These cameras are not sold to the public and are being installed in "strategic locations". The camera can identify a face among a multitude of people. Place your computer's cursor in the mass of people and double-click a couple times (or 'finger-spread' on a device). Scary sharp!!

Yeah I call BS on this entire image. Also, some people have totally deformed heads, and also, some people look out of place, like why is one guy HUGE compared to the guy next to him? Also, there are just several spots that look, well, a bit photoshopped... like the light on the guy with the red shirt looks out of place and totally different then the others.

Another thing too is that if it is ONE photo, then it is ONE photo, they say ti is ONE photo that a camera took but that is BS when you look at these closeups. If it is not photoshopped it is stitched to say the least. But there are some instances of lighting that looks off and perspectives/people are larger then others right next to them.
