And you think I don't work in IT? You know how many virus's and spyware I have cleaned off Windows and how many I have cleaned off of Mac's?
And since you brought it up..
"Mac's business model revolves around simplicity for the end user, which makes you bend to their ToS and proprietaries."
I think the only argument you could make here is that OSX can only be installed on Apple hardware - per the TOS. But as an IT professional myself I know damned well how many times we violate MS's TOS so don't even go there.
And there is nothing proprietary about OS X. iOS, sure. But OS X you are flat out wrong. And thats based off fact, not opinion

Linux is more virus-free than even Macs:I switched to Apple a couple of years back & would never go back. If for no other reason than the lack of viruses on mac. I have a Mac Pro & my GF has a Mac Air. My Pro is 2 or 3 years old & so I'm getting a new one soon. I like her Air better than my Pro, but that's just me.... Oh, I voted "wait for the new Pro" because of the choices offered that's what I'd do... Bill

Some people "buy-in" to the Apple hype, indeed. I never have liked BSD.
Android sales and activations exceed iPhruity devices daily, and your router probably runs Linux (unless you bought-in to one of Apple's routers), oh yeah, AND Roku's run Linux.

This website probably runs on Linux too. Nobody is saying that Linux doesn't have its place. What we are saying is that for A LOT of the population, Linux just doesn't meet our needs on the DESKTOP.
I am past the point of tinkering with my computers or disabling services or recompiling kernels, testing distros or window managers or any other ballywho you leet linux guys do on a daily...
I just need my operating system to manage my files and launch my applications. I have no interest in using Gimp when I can use Photoshop, I have no interest in using Open Office when I can use MS Office 2007/10/13 etc etc.
I would rather use superior applications and inferior operating systems than use a superior operating system and inferior applications.Comment

Since I read a Mac user talk about one of the drawbacks to Macs, coming from Windows?

But that article states that you can.
And note, he's talking about tabbing through every element in a web page, not just an HTML <form>.
