windows activation

After installing my new motherboard I tried to reactivate my windows by internet (mistake.) Now I'm trying to do it by phone but it won't give me the option, all it will let me do is go online to resolve issues which leads to them wanting me to buy a new copy of windows, or pay $60 for tech support.

Anyone know how to get to the phone option if you've tried online and it failed? It seems the automated phone system has an option for saying you installed a new motherboard.

What exact version of windows? I have various activation tools I could PM you that would do the trick.

Replaced motherboard cpu and new ram. I reinstalled windows last night and it reset everything so I could do the automated phone activation which worked.

was it an OEM version?

MS toolkit... There is something else too, just changing one registry entry can allow you to do something, but I gotta check.
