I get a pop-up, "long running script" SOLVED!

For the last couple weeks, CGN has been slow to reload each page. So slow I open 2 CGN windows & click back & forth, so I'm not spending so much time waiting.

Now in the last few days, I get this popup saying "CalGuns is running a long script" So I click on the cancel button & the page loads up. Annoying & slow! I have the computer set up to do a daily scan/defrag/etc.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

my other websites seem to load ok. Just CGN is slow. I wonder if anyone else is still having the Slow Server Syndrome on CGN?

I haven't seen it here, but often (comes and goes) on both gmail and yahoo mail.

Page Not Responding is usually a server issue. I noticed it a few times on CGN, especially in the evening when we get home from work and drool over the new postings and WTS threads.

I usually just close the browser, maybe reboot, then restart the browser. You might even try clearing your cookies, and even wait a few minutes before trying again. (go get a beer and clean a glock!)

Glad you took the plunge.
It might look more streamline than other browsers but it is really fast and powerful.
You can turn on things like the bookmark bar, home button etc in the settings.
It will even protect you from loading pages that it thinks has been compromised.
