      Wow.

I remember a site called bottomline or bottomprice.com or bottomdollar.com a while ago. I had heard of price watch but never went there.

It is sad that even with today and the technology and SQL advancements that there is STILL not ONE site that has a list of ALL vendors selling something.

I just saw a lot of things for sale at vendors that I recognized but you know what would make a REALLY cool site is for you to be able to go there and pick out the items you want and then just place the order and it goes through all of the girations for you and you only pay one low shipping fee ETC... Wow, I wonder why no one has done that yet... (yes I know folks are screaming AMAZON.COM!) But one for computers would be nice.

Cool website but expensive. I just built the same system that I built from MicroCenter and it cost almost double..lol

EDIT: Check post below. Website is not expensive as I originally thought. Lots of good choices too!

Timeout. So let me get this straight.

You checked the parts HERE at THIS SITE against your RETAIL purchase at Microcenter and found it was double the price?

            Sorry man.

OKAY everyone go home, there is NOTHING to see here. Game over.

I never did check prices but I was gonna do that before I made a purchase.
            Thanks for pointing that out.

It wasnt too bad. I did add a couple more expensive items so all in all it wasnt too bad. I would say this website is pretty decent considering it has so much to choose from.

I might have jumped the gun on the DOUBLE thing because when I actually read the list, I had some additional items on there.

All in all that website is pretty decent. If I did EXACT components it will probably be a tiny bit more expensive but not by much. Just disregard what I said above

A long time ago I used to buy all my parts at computer shows. Then I moved on to Newegg since they're in CA and 90% of my orders were delivered the next day. After years of ordering from them, I found out that out of state sales charge tax (aka Amazon Prime). Now that Amazon is forced to charge tax for CA, I go back and forth between Amazon and Newegg. Amazon still usually has the better deal though.

Impressive. I try to stay 3-5 years behind the curve to save 90% but of course sometimes that bites ya. Good site.
