    This might also have a place in deals and steals. but thought better info for techies
    Found a place selling used computer equipment dirt cheap.
    UCSD E waste collection area on Linda Vista
    Paid $20 for a Dell monitor
    They have computers with out the hard drive for $15 and cheap cables and cords.

        At least one of my local aluminum recycling places does computer equipment also.

        At least check those too, if you want a deal.

          there is a difference between USD and UCSD when online looking for addresses... Good info to have. Maybe I shall check with a local recylcer as well... I remember when Riv Co used to allow me to pick through the stuff at the e-waste recycle center. We made off with some decent things there.

              They are not supposed to sell that equipment. The have been given a government grant to dispose of the donated goods not sell them for profit.
