    In my previous career I worked on very early MS Surface technology I was not impressed then and would probably skip the MS Surface products.

        I won't be buying one. EVERY piece of Microsoft hardware was always marketed as the "next thing" when it came out, only to be ditched by them 6 months later. WinCe and its mutations is an excellent example. If you buy a Microsoft device, expect to enjoy it for 6 months or so and never expect major vendors to support it.

            you should thank them. There are few good uses of flash. Pandora is one.
