I have wild blue now have had them for 3 years contract is up but I need the Internet for work. Won't renew for anything. Just buying my time until I convince the local ISP they need to take over the other 25 properties in our area from AT&T. The cable is already ran underground they just cannot connect due to service rights AT&T has. BS if you ask me.

im in lake elsinore and i use Coastinet. i pay $40 a month and its very good i run my xbox,pc,cell and tablet at the same time and it doesnt slow down.

Hughes net sucks but it's better than dialup.

If you have an unlimited data plan, and don't have other access, PDANet on a tethered smartphone isn't too bad. I used a service called SkyRiver for a customer once. they use radio instead of satellites. Cheaper by far than hughes net, but not the fastest service either.
