Borderlands 1 was a pretty decent game. I enjoyed it quite a bit but found some bits of it too repetitive and tedious. I hope they fixed that part of it.

I'll wait for it to go for $10 or so on Steam like I did with the first.

I hated the mass loot drops of the first. Spent more time examining each drop versus playing the game.

Question..is this game as "bad" with the loot?

Second question...is it playable solo or do you need friends?

Yeah, you may not like it, the loot is worse and more varied.

Im doing it solo and its very playable.

I got this yesterday at BestBuy, interestingly, they also give you a Borderlands 2 Poster. Liking it so far, playing solo, the commando.

Sweet I started as the Assasin but I died waaaaayyy too much on solo so I switched over to Siren. I've heard ffrom the guys at work that commando is pretty good for single player.

yes, it can do co-op 4 people multiplayer mode.

At least the first one did. This should do that also.

We're enjoying it very well.


I did the first playthrough (PC) as an Assassin and had no problems in single player, except for the missions in Lynchwood. On the second playthrough (Vault Hunter Mode), it's a different story; I die quicker than Rosie O'Donnell inhaling a Big Mac.
