Photos on threads intermittently not loading.

    Hi all,

I've noticed that photos don't load intermittently. The page appears to have loaded completely, but I'll see a reference in the thread about a photo. If I click Back and then Forward, the photo will load.

When it doesn't load, I don't get a red X, empty box or any other indication. It's just not there.

    iMac G5, OS 10.7.4, Firefox 15.0.1. A few plug-ins (Flip4Mac, Shockwave, Java, Quicktime).

Have not tried it in a different browser yet.

    Any ideas?

    Example: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=618724

When I first clicked on that thread, the photo did not load. There was no empty place where it should be, no red x etc. It wasn't until I saw a post about the colors being off that I realized there must be a photo there. Clicked back and Forward and it loaded.

Guns, dogs and home alarms. Opponents are all of a sudden advocates once their personal space is violated.

Why is it all the funny stuff happens to comedians?

Well you are a MAC user and I am sorry for that but IF I had to guess, I would look at your cache or temp files and see if you have hit your limits or if you have a LKOT and should possibly free up space. I forgot how but there was a utility or OH- CCLEANER has a MAC version that might clean out a lot of temp files it is made by piiriform or something like that.

IF you had a PC I would say that you might be running out of memory or have a leak. Does hte screen flicker sometimes too? Like websites pages or pictures? That tells me that I have to reboot because I ate up too much ram doing something and I gotta dump it out and restart over again.

Could it be that apple is an anti-gun company and they are finally getting around to censoring gun sites from mac users? :O

Hope you find the cause and I hope I was able to give you an idea or two.
