The Galaxy S3 and HTC One X both have better battery life.
Android is just as easy to use, if not more so.

Have you held one? It is not too big unless you have tiny hands. I can touch anywhere on the screen with my right thumb while holding the handset in my right hand, and that is with an Otterbox Defender on it with adds quite a bit of thickness.
You obviously haven't used Android 2.3 or above.
The ease of use is also a huge bonus. Not everyone wants to hack their phone to death.

Yes the walled garden can feel closterphobic at times, not having to think about the function of my phone can be refreshing. Competition is a great thing.
