Android is just as easy to use, if not more so.

[QUOTE\Although I believe the current iPhone screen is to small(many don't) the s3's screen is massive and far to big for me.[/QUOTE]

Have you held one? It is not too big unless you have tiny hands. I can touch anywhere on the screen with my right thumb while holding the handset in my right hand, and that is with an Otterbox Defender on it with adds quite a bit of thickness.

Yes the walled garden can feel closterphobic at times, not having to think about the function of my phone can be refreshing. Competition is a great thing.
You obviously haven't used Android 2.3 or above.

MY GSIII sucks for battery life honestly. I put a 4200mAH battery on it from Hyperion and it is going for 3 days straight with a lot of use now after a few charges.

Which carrier do you have? I got the 32GB version from T-Mobile and my battery lasts all day with heavy use.

Google Play Music will not sync them. It'll tell you which ones it couldn't sync when it is done too.

I'm on Sprint and mine will last the better part of a day as well, but I have everything turned on, and use every last drop of power that thing has. After the big battery, its been nothing but awesome. Seidio is the one I wanted but I got another brand for a third the price and I think it works better anyway.

I'm using the stock battery, need the phone to fit in the Otterbox.

Any reason you're stuck with the otter box? Lots of great companies make extended batteries and cases to match. Otterbox is a really great case and all, but Seidio, and now all the new ones coming from China on Amazon have been great.

I have both the Apple iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy SIII. My iPhone 4 has a lot more apps than my three week old S3. But that doesn't mean the S3 is bare. It is fairly full. Anyway, the iPhone can almost go a day without charging. The S3 goes from 100% to 60% in less than an hour of email and just sitting on my holster. Both are carried by AT&T.

My 4s can go 2 days between charges on the stock battery, never met an android without an extended battery. I have held the s3 and it's to big for me. I'm not going to argue weather android is a good system, it is. I was just pointing out that the benchmark is a 1 year old phone design. I'm sure the 5 will be faster, and I'm also sure that 500 android phones will be released immidialty following all claiming to be the IPhone killer(again)

Having both devices regularly, I can tell you that the GS3 dwarfs my iPhone's screen. GS3 has a better camera, better voice command, a better keyboard and of course the 4G LTE support makes the faster connection ideal on a smartphone. The GS3, is taller, but thinner than the iPhone.

The iPhone excels in intuitive design, the back swipe in the home screen and search is useful, something I have not figured out how to do on the Android. Screen shots are also much easier on the iPhone. The iPhone has the better battery, better apps, and I don't need an anti-virus on my iPhone, like I do on my Android. Enterprise integration using secured Exchange connection is better on the iPhone, since it works with the standard built-in mail app. On the GS3 I had to get Touchdown and TD is clunky.

Both are equal in the realm of telephony, I hate touchscreens on phones, as my face tend to hit the panel causing problems with calls.

The funny thing is that Apple is probably going to call the iPhone 5 a revolutionary innovation with its 3.99 inch screen...Really?

You can always replace an Android battery by taking off the back in a total of 5 seconds in case it is getting hot (could explode?), getting low, or just want a fresh battery (while charging the other one out of the phone)...

Modularity, and off-line backups is something that Apple devices lack (compared to Android). EVERYTHING ELSE on the market has a MicroUSB card-slot (industry standard tech., AND complete as-is-backup [rooted Android] available on most devices unless the device went all "Motorola-commie" with locked-bootloaders), and use a MicroUSB cable (industry standard tech.) available everywhere, and they are not as over-priced.

Oh and ssh clients are WONDERFUL on an iPhone, without a K/Board.

Because it's a quality case and I have no desire to put a battery in my phone that adds to it's thickness, especially since with the extended battery and case it'll be over 2x as thick as it is in the Otterbox. This phone also feels just right in the Otterbox.

Strange, especially since the proximity sensor shuts the touchscreen off when you put the phone to your head.

Mine with the extend battery and all the extras including case isn't as thick as an Iphone. Its a great setup.
