Anybody play Just Cause 2?

Or maybe it was the first one. I like the idea of an open environment and being able to run around and destroy just about everything looks like fun, but how I have never heard of this before surprises me.

Anyone else play it and is it fun?

I hate to let my nerd out, but it's my day off so I'm probably guna hit the box after breakfast.

Never played the first one, but I liked the demo so much that I played it at least ten times before I found a used copy. Took about a month. Great game. Lots to do, and I like how they pretty much just designed the biggest open world for a game I've ever seen. I literally think it takes about 20 minutes to fly a fighter jet in that game from one end to the other. Buy it, it's worth it even though the dialog is cheesy and the characters are fresh out of a bad Tarantiono movie.

0o0o0o That sounds like a good excuse to spend my giftcard at best buy if they have it. That or on skyrim. Sounds good though. I was not certain about the biggest openworld environment part and how smooth it would be on my dinky 4 yr old machine (phenom 950 x4 black edition + 4 GB ram + Evga 285GTX). But I liked the idea and I was thinking of getting it. Well, I will have to look for it now. Lots o fun huh? It may be JUST what I need to keep myself unemployed that much longer...
