      I'd be happy with a Nexus 6.

      Wait... what?

My only problem so far is that I can't upload books into Google books. I had to download the kindle app and email the books to my kindle account so I could read my book.

Other than that, I'm very happy.

I could have sworn Google Books kept all your books sync'd between devices.

It does, but I have documents that were not purchased through Google, so I have to use another aoo to read them.

For me, it needs to have a microSD slot for transoceanic flights.

                      I'm loving this thing!

My wife had a kindle fire and is ready to trade it in for a nexus 7.

Oh yeah forgot to check in on this thread; yeah I'm having a blast with mine. Once I figured out how to sideload my non DRM movies and *.epub files I was set.

Everything is just so... elegant... on the N7.

But be advised, if you're not prepared to do some searching, you may have difficulty unlocking all the potential. The documentation that comes with it is crap and it requires some searching around to get the most out of it - 3rd party apps are a must.

I have already unlocked my GSM Galaxy Nexus and have been flashing ROMs and kernels trying each one of them out. I am just waiting on a specific kernel and ROM to developed for the N7 now.

Yeah, being a Nexus device documentation is not really a priority as the target audience are Android developers and more of the "hardcore" Android fans. The no nonsense users, if you will. If you own a Nexus you need to do some digging on XDA-Developers or other forums for most of the info.

I picked up a 16 GB and love it. For $50 bucks more and you get double the memory is a win win. I know people are making a big deal about it not having SD cards but it really isn't a big deal anymore with all the cloud based storage. If you know your going to be away from the internet just preload your data.

JB is definitely going to give iOS a run for it's money.

Google Now still has a way to go, but programs like it and Siri are soon going to be much more than just a gimmick.
