What have you gotten so far? What are you wanting to get?

I'm down for Assassin's Creed Revelations so far, and waiting for Brotherhood to go on a better sale.

I think the only other game I would get(because I own a laptop) is "Meat boy" since it looks like a fun little platformer. I finished installing my $5 Portal 2 today but haven't played it yet.

Sweet - just picked up the complete Batman franchise for $24.99. Arkham Asylum & City, Gotham Imposters, and all the DLC for all three.

waiting for Red Orchestra 2 to go on the daily deal sale. That's pretty much the only game I want, since I hardly play games anymore.

I did get the tribes ascend starter pack though. I've been in the game since beta, but cheap gold is always nice.

I'm trying to fix the 1-second mouse lag I get in Tribes I can't play any real matches with it yet.

Finally did some levels of Portal 2. Super fun as expected but I'm really early in.

There's a bunch of games I wanted to get, mainly Skyrim.

I can't spend too much so I ended up getting portal, portal 2 (which apparently BSODs with my processor), L.A. Noire and Plants Vs. Zombies.

Single handedly screwed up my favorite game series, although Maddox games had a big hand in that as well.
Sigh...back to IL2.

Skip RO2, man. It's just not worth it. They did their best to cater to the COD crowd, and abandoned the fanbase from RO:Ostfront. Problem is, they didn't manage to get the COD kids, so the game is just a bastard somewhere in the middle between the two, and pretty much it has no community left, after the president of TWI went on a rampage and started banning everyone.

forums(dot)tripwireinteractive(dot)com. Most of the (interesting) threads are deleted now, but you can still find some hints here and there. It got down to the point where the President of TWI was getting lawyers to send cease and desist letters to COMMUNITY MEMBERS who were questioning development decisions, game features, etc. Some of those guys that got banned ... all their posts were deleted, and their names were even added to the word censor on the forum. They're basically un-persons now.

They blocked out almost all of the community from beta testing, even the guys that had previously been testers for RO:O. They brought in an almost completely new crew for that, guys that were COD / BF / CS clan players, with no ties to the original game. There's also some stuff here.

The first game was all about realism, deliberation, teamwork. The second ... became all about balance, with a side of bunnyhopping. Med kits to heal yourself, etc. In the ultimate bid to get players from COD ... you can even get crosshairs now.

That and the way they implement Punk Buster causes me to appear to be speedhacking when I'm only lagging.

It's pretty horrible anti-cheat software.

I play Ro2 on a realism server (2.Fjg) and it's fairly fun. I do agree it's a lot more run and gun than RO1, but it's still a LOT better than CoD and BF3 as far as realism goes.

I didn't know about that whole banning thing, it puts a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm hoping the steam christmas sale is good this year, and that I still have money after some doctor visits I had lately.
