I would, but I need a K/Board. I am WAY less efficient without one.

Now if SOMEONE would drop a Pure Google (or even a CyanogenModded) phone with a K/Board on T-Mobile, I would be all over it!!!

    Looks like an awesome phone!

na. splurged on an off contract nexus and went with TMobile. Gonna have to wait a few years before a buy a new phone.

                  i am.

i just test drove an htc one x from att last month (had a 30 day return policy with a $35 restocking fee).

KILLER machine except for 2 things:

                  1. no R&R battery
                  2. no micro/SD card slot.

i might as well be using my old iphone 3G...

                  so i returned it.

then i heard about the S3. which is essentially the ONE X with R&R batt and a micro SD slot...

                  specs are so close.

i dont wanna preorder so i'm waiting for launch date...

Was going to pre-order it to keep my unlimited plan but I have until the 28th and don't like being rushed.

But I kind don't won't to be tied to another 2 year contract and really want to handle one in person before I commit so I may buy one out of contract.

But it has everything I want and more do I really need for what I do on my phone not really my droid x is no slouch.

Probably go for the 16gb model don't need all that space and besides I can buy a 32gb sc-card for under 50 bucks, instead of a extra 50 dollars for 16gb more space.

was a slight issue with annoying "must apply security settings" prompt but I ended up fixing that on exchange server. otherwise everything is running perfectly

                          i preordered from sprint

Yeah, I'm not particularly interested in the S3 over the S2 that I already have. As it is, the 4.3" screen on the S2 is right at the point where if it were any larger I wouldn't be able to use the thing one handed. The lack of quad core support in the US S3 is also garbage(due to not playing nice with the LTE radio or some crap). HTC also did the same CPU swap with the One X apparently as well... I guess instead of waiting a year to get a phone after it's been out in Europe, we just get crappier versions of the phone sooner now?

The only other major benefit I'm seeing is the larger battery(better be larger considering that the phone is bigger), considering that the official 4.0.3 update for the S2 is out now(minus s-voice, which I'm not concerned about). They also went back to the dumb pentile screen on the S3 also... I really don't understand what samsung was thinking.

Merc, the real advantage of moving to the One X or GS3 is the 1280x720 screens. That is what I have been waiting for mostly.
