Ebay seems to forbid functional casings, but I'm planning a "regular" version that only involves the front end of a case, therefore deactivating it. Maybe I'll put it on Kickstarter as a small project for gamers or something.

If the parts come in next week, I should be able to start selling them at that time. At the moment, I only have parts for 7mm Mag and .270. I will see if I can make more in the future too, like those around 7.62 or .30. .375 Holland would be cool too. .223 can work, but I think it's too short to be easy to use.

I've been searching for a pointed tip as I haven't found a good stylus for precision writing or drawing, but it seems like you need a certain contact surface for it to work, or you need to make one with its own power source, which makes it expensive. Most tablets and phones work differently from drawing tablets.

Now to find ways to distribute this.

And finally, ask and you shall receive. I didn't make them all as I got some from other collectors.

I'd like to have one w/ a 7.62x54r casing. I'll send you the spent brass if you don't want to make a mess of them.

Do they have a more pointed tip available?

Ebay has a lot of rules, but their enforcement doesn't always catch things. For example, I've seen a lot of airsofts with no orange tip get pulled but a lot of others going through.

        About this:

        Under ammunition

        They prohibit:
        Cartridges, casings, shells, or hulls

        But restricted:
Converted brass (also known as trench art). The item has to show that it's been converted and that it can't be converted back into a usable casing.

Firearms are not allowed. Listings for allowed firearm parts and accessories must follow strict guidelines.

The problem is if I drilled a hole, it can cut the user's fingers, or at least be a discomfort.

How about filling the case with epoxy or plaster of paris to deactivate it?

There is an calguns member on here that does laser engraving/etching. Maybe you two can team up, and have a larger offering? Maybe done in .50 cal also? Just thoughts.

Been busy with my startup, but here they are. Right now, 7mm Mag and .270 Winchester are available. I also have a 7.62x54R experimental one. By the way, I welcome any suggestions and ideas.

Because these are brass, they will tarnish, but I have nickel plated 7mm Mag that should last without tarnish much longer.

Also, this version uses real shell casings, so please treat them as such. (i.e. follow laws, don't export without ITAR exemption or license, don't take to airport)

                Awesome.

If you need a simple point of sale site setup I can whip up a 1 page about/buy via paypal for peanuts.

                Well done sir. Very cool

Thanks, I might do something like that in the future.

Here's a quick video of me trying to draw a gun on my old phone lol. Props if you can tell what gun it is.

Those look great! If you are worried about drilling holes that may cut, either slightly indent or round out the edge of the hole. As for tarnish, maybe clear coat it with something so the metal isn't exposed to the air and since you're not worried about cambering it, thickness isn't a factor with the coating. How would a .30-06 case be for size?
