Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is out today. R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane and Ken Rolston are the big minds behind the game. Check it out, I am going to get it as soon as I get my new computer up and running...just waiting for the mobo to drop onto my porch.

edit: just found out that World Champion pitcher and mmo fanatic Curt Schilling also had a hand in this game, which will also reportedly spawn an MMO set in the same IP.

As others have mentioned Skyrim is an amazing adventure albeit a time vampire. I have the 360 version and so far have logged over 165 hours playing it and still haven't really completed everything. If it's a wide open game you want this is it.

I've never been much either of a sword and magic player but after this game I'm hooked.

I'm liking Star Wars, the Old Republic. It doesn't feel like a grind as leveling is relatively quick. Playing on the dark side is entertainingly refreshing as it's a break from the 'good guy' quests like most other games.

Every quest you get has a cut scene where the character talks to you, and you choose your responses... You don't have to read the quests like other games. You can speed through the cut scenes too if you want.

                        Achievement Unlocked 2.

                        I'm cheap and easily amused.

Skyrim is pretty cool. There is no limit to the amount of stuff you can do.

                            Console or PC?

I don't know too many console titles as I haven't played console in years, but ArmA 2: Combined Operations is a really good game with great replayablity on the PC. Especially with the A.C.E. mod and other weapon mods, it gives you more gun choices than you can think of. Multiplayer is insanely fun wether it be PvP or versus the AI. You ca download hundreds of SP missions PR go on servers and play CO-OP or PvP.

Skyrim and the Mass Effect series are also pretty good.

Look like Mass Effect will have options for either playing in action mode where there are hardly if any dialog, then there RPG mode which is the regular game mode, and another mode where it is pretty much all dialog.

Maaaan I cant wait for MASS EFFECT 3!!!!
