What are you playing? Need a game.

Still enjoying BF3 but I am looking for something else to throw in the mix. Something with a story but not linear. Favorite games of all time would be Fallout 3, Fallout:New Vegas and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (original 360). Never got into Fable 2 so that series is dead to me.

Skyrim looks interesting but not sure about sword and magic thing. And grinding on crafting definitely sounds tiresome.

Suggestions? I don't mind going back to a game I missed (probably quite few in this category).

I just finished Portal 2. A lot of entertaining fun.
    Also enjoyed InFamous 1 & 2.
Still working on Batman: Arkham Asylum.

I'd recommend the Witcher, both 1 and 2. Some will say that both games are relatively linear, but that wasn't a problem for me. If you compare it with Kotor, which I loved by the way, you could say its about the same. Except in Kotor you could choose what order you do the planets in of course.

You may get discouraged in act 2 of the first game, there are alot of quests, and it seems a little overwhelming, but stick with it if you decide to play... the game has a great story line.

The second game is a lot more polished than the first one, the combat is better, and it makes sense by itself, but I'd recommend you play the first game. Just make sure you make the choice you really want to make in the first one, because you can import your save from the first one into the second game. If you don't have it, don't want to important, you're fine still, you're just neutral.

Skyrim by far... It's the only thing that has been able to get me off of BF3. I usually cant stand RPG's for more than a couple hours but this game is absolutely amazing still after 2 weeks.

witcher 2 is a solid choice, so is skyrim.

Good call! Mass Effect is still my favorite video game series of all time other than Battlefield. Don't know why... something just clicked with me and that series.

I like shooter games. I never payed video games until last year at the ripe old age of 40. Thank you Resident Evil 4..........Crack in a DVD.

Dead Space series....spooky as hell, nightmares scary. Amazing graphics.

Killzone Series (1 pS2, 2 and 3 on PS3) All time favorite, great action. Again amazing graphics.

Resistance series. Fun run and gun. Nothing to mentally challenging. Ok graphics.

                            Bioshock series. LOTS of fun.

Crysis 2. amazing graphics. Great gun play etc.

Uncharted Series. Great story lines, graphics etc.

Bulletstorm. OK graphics but a blast to play and youll find yourself giggling a lot because you get more points for creative ways to kill people.

Red faction 2. Semi open field.

The best thing about most of the ones I have listed is that they are cheap and are a ton of fun to play. I dont get into games that require too much mental gymnastics. Thus Mass Effect is still unfinished
