My wife has one and she loves it . She spent weeks looking at all the different tablets and then got the transformer.

Bought one for the GF.

First impressions:

Build quality is very good to excellent.
Battery life is out effing standing.
Screen size and weight are just right.

2.4GHz wireless n ? Not sure why this isn't a 5GHz version.
Not nearly as fast as the HP touchpad.
Some apps do not work such as wireless printing (which works on the HP).

Still testing other items.

it's nice, but i'd wait for the new one coming out soon with quad core that is thinner than the samsung and ipad2

I've had my Transformer for a while now and I love it. I got the dock on sale at Newegg for $99 and it's great, I love being able to turn it into a netbook when I want to. I wouldn't mind getting the new model when it comes out but the price is kind of steep and my TF is working perfect for me so far.

I finally got around to rooting it btw (I have the B70 model), it's so easy now (just run two apps; one for root, the other recovery). It was great before but it's even better now! Smoother, faster, optimized browser, amazing Flash performance, even better battery life, it's great. I'm using the newest Krakd (sp?) Rom btw.
