i would pay $13 but it would have to be at least a 4 hr flight. If less, I'll just bring a video to watch. i think i can hold off not reading calguns or ducati boards the day, or at least when i get to destination and use their wifi.

i'll also use my tablet most likely. i find it highly annoying when the passenger in front suddenly decides to lean back, and the laptop is open. can easily break the screen connector when that happens.

Do you still have to power down during approach and take off?

I can't wait until someone complains that the "airplane mode" on their device isn't working with the carrier's wifi. Those will be fun to hear about I'm sure.

I started off with a video but the 17" dreamscreen is a hog

Kinda reminds me back way before many of you kiddies were born, show-offs would call you up from their carphone to announce, "Yes, that's right, I'm calling you... FROM A CAR!" Eventually you get over the newness. Next you'll be sending us holographic images from outer space and we'll all be going "this reminds me of the time when people first got wifi on airplanes.."

Have a good landing. Always hacks me off when they announce that "we'll be on the ground in x minutes." Being "on the ground" covers a possibility that is not as desirable as landing. Please announce that we'll be landing, not just that "we'll be on the ground."

What a ripoff. Did you know that you can often get discounted or free internet on your flight if you're using a smartphone or tablet? All you need to do in order to take advantage of this on your laptop is to the change your browsers user-agent so that it says it is a smartphone or tablet and then after you connect you can change it back for a regular browsing experience.

Getting online while on a long flight can mean the difference between a fun flight and endless boredom. That said, it can be a little pricey and doesn

How are these items mutually exclusive?

The correct answer is, of course, both.
