By which you mean you've gained internet access on an airplane.

Are we still supposed to be excited by that?

I know its been out there a while, but this is my first flight with WiFi. $13 for the flight.

my laptop battery is the weak link. Fallback to a tablet. 512k down / 256K up. Painful but better than reading skymall.

ip appears to belong to AT&T (12.)

        thanks for keeping me entertained

interesting..........lots of profit for them too.

I would happily pay $13 for a seatmate that isn't a smelly noisy inconsiderant douche. How is yours?

              Where are you going?

              What airline?

              Why are you going?

              When are you coming back?

              What are you bringing us?

                    You paid for that crap?

Ever bothered bringing a book on a plane? Just got off a AA flight yesterday, couldn't imagine paying that much for 4hours of internet.

Anyways what plane you on? I flew a S80 out to MO the other day.

what is this book thing you speak of? I used to read tech notes but those have long gone the way of PDF.

everything I read comes from the web.

it was internet or two $8 beers. The net won

This could mean anything. Assuming it is an MD80 landing somewhere in Missouri, who cares what you think about someone spending thirteen of their own bucks.?

and to think that we used to pay $6.00 per HOUR for Compuserve, and transmit ASCII TEXT to BBS systems at 300 BAUD for that price!
