I'm level 14 and I just now figured out how to add the unlocks to my user/guns/vehicles... I have been using iron sights this whole time.. Makes me wonder what else I'm missing. =/

I'm so depressed right now

For the past few weeks I've been playing BF3 on PS3 and have really been enjoying it. It has taken a lot of getting used to since I am mainly a COD player but I've really been showing some improvement. Today I hit a 710m headshot while sniping in on Kharg Island and wanted to come on here to brag about it. I figured I would need to prove it with a screenshot from my battlelog which I hadn't set up yet so I went online to do so. This started an epic struggle with usernames, accounts, emails, passwords, etc. I contacted EA Support and we found out that, for some reason, my PSN account was dually tied with my brother's information (email, etc.) We tried straightening things out but we only made it worse. I logged back onto my PS3 only to find all my progress has been deleted. The EA Support guy and I essentially hit the "reset" button on all my stats and progress.

I'll tell ya what I'll never again buy a CoD untill they stop charging for patches. If they do that in BF3 I wouldn't buy that either. As for BF in general I liked BF2 but BC sucked, worst anti-cheat ever + straight R&G zerg games make me want to puke. Oh for the days of united offensive or straight CoD...where ya could play the british which one was that ? the 1st one?

i think he meant the DLC map packs, which just +5 years ago was considered a patch not "DLC"

At least when BF3 did it this time, they gave way more content than CoD does at the same price point.

The EA support guy and I concluded that this happened because my brother played an EA Sports game on my PS3 in the past. He may have made some sort of profile somewhere that mixed things up. That is the only thing we could think of.

At least when BF3 did it this time, they gave way more content than CoD does at the same price point.

Did they add new vehicles or guns?

they added 10 new guns (you will have to unlock them, can use it anywhere) and 4 vehicles (only playable on the new maps)
