    What Wireless Router to get?

    I have a Cisco-Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G Router

This is the second one now that started to crap out on me, having to reset it to get it to work.

I need a decent wireless range.

and i do play ps3 games online

I have 4 hard wired computers and two wireless computers

I Do not do any gaming on the computers.

What would be a decent to get that will last more then 2 years?

    D-Link

I had the same issues as you with Linksys taking a big dump on me. Especially when the power would go out. Once it came back the router would never re-establish. I'd have to spend an hour or more re-configuring something.

Once I went with D-Link all those issues went away.

D-Link, that is what I had before the wife switched everything to Fios. D-Link is really good!

I have a $15 refurb netgear from newegg that has worked fine for two years, including a link to a house 100 feet away. Sometimes the clients don't connect because the password seems to be unrecognized, but if I reset the password to the original, everything works. That only takes a couple min on the main, hardwired, computer. It is only G however.

          So I dunno.

D-link and Netgear have worked well for me in the past. I'm currently using a refurb Netgear wnr2000 i got for like $15. Avoid Belkin at all cost.

Have you tried upgrading the Firmware on the Linksys router? When my Linksys one finally died I switched to a Netgear router and has worked pretty good for me for the past 1.5 years.

Spend 200 bucks and get a Cisco 1200 series. I've got a 1232 which runs extremely well, and have deployed dozens of 1242s which are awesome.

Stable as hell, never a problem, and capable of accepting external antennas.

Since u have Comcast call them and they will send you a router for free. And when you cancel just give it back. I just did this today since my router went out and don't want to pay for another. They don't last more than two years it seems

sub.. do you have the original firmware on it?

if so, chuck and and put dd-wrt. i was running stock firmware for a while until it started become unstable for me. dd-wrt fixed it. so unless you're completely set to spend $, just update the firmware and see if that gets you your stability. mine is running 2+ years now. i bought another wrt54g as a wirelss bridge. i regretted chucking the first one when i thought it was bad and could've used it as a bridge.
