It's the Adobe Flash plugin. I use FlashBlock (amongst other things) and that takes care of it. If I lose my mind and actually activate a Flash video from YouTube, I will eventually see this delay.

Not sure about the overheating thing, though - might be time to run the dust bunnies out of that old P4 cooling fan!

    Regards,
    Brian in CA

My guess is it is just another manipulation ploy that it seems alot of software manufactures are doing now to nudge you into a different direction.

Just like when you get a OS push to your android phone then it works like crap from that day forward. All about making you WANT to upgrade to something newer.

Firefox "USED" to be fast, now it has become bloated and slow.

Well gee, wouldnt you know it!! there is now FireFox Aurora!! Just upgrade to that and ALLLLLL the problems have been fixed.

      Here you go

Experience cutting-edge browser features in pre-release versions: Firefox Developer Edition, Firefox Beta and Firefox Nightly. Download now!

just lime my stupid droid. everyone in my family has droids (4 droids) and all of a sudden in the last few months, and some OS pushes and app pushes, ALL of the phones act weird, lock up, need to be shut off etc.

And oh gee, three of our phones are eligible for upgrades!! how convenient!!!
      1 Peter 3:15

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect

      2 Corinthians 3:3
You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
