The thread is updated every scrim in the original post. Leave your thread up as it's good for general discussion IMO.

Just jump in TS and play whenever we all decide to play. There isn't exactly a set time for practice, but most of us log on around 8 or 9, and play til we're dead tired.

if we are going to take scrims seriously, then we need to test each players abilities, and then place them into roles they are suited for.

and also we need to get more practice against vehicles, especially helicopters as yesterday's scrim showed us. they can knock our choppers down within seconds with rockets/mgs, while we couldn't even touch theirs.

Just gotta improve killing ability. Teamwork works very well, and I'd say it's 50% of the overall effort, but individual ability to remove other players from the game is the other 50%. You can get into position, and work as a team, but if the individual player can't kill at least one opponent, the entire plan becomes useless. This goes for vehicles and on the ground. Need to play more heavy metal and use the vehicles exclusively to get better on them.

Then again, all of this practicing and getting better for a game that's about to be replaced by BF3 in a couple months

not true, while BF3 is a "new" game, they are still using the frostbite engine, just upgrades, so it may not all be different.

hitting a heli with a rocket will be the same difficultly in BF3. maybe we should lock the server tonite and just do practice for tomorrow. get our usual pilots/drivers/gunner layout, then rest of team will be trying to kill, and the vehicles will try to survive.
