I sure hope so. I cant pinpoint the problem. My CPU barely breaks 50 degrees mark, so that is not an issue. I suspect that my gpu may be freezing because the catalyst for 64 bit win 7 does not tell me the temp and does overclocking automatically. What a big step forward

We can still do scrims, but maybe not one every other day like we've done for the past week. I'm still going to want to scrim people once in a while, but having to "show up for practice" is real competitive clan stuff, and is more competitive and serious than I want to get.

Scrims are for tossers. Pubs is where its at, crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women! Or at very least make everyone rage quit the server.

Lol. Scrims are fine and dandy, but unless you're a competitive player that's part of a serious clan, you're likely going to continue losing. I can see us getting better and better if we decided to dedicate a certain time each day to play, but a lot of us have other obligations and things we like/want to do. Additionally I can tell a lot of our guys just want to keep it casual.

I have no problems with clans and competition or anything, but if I wanted to get extremely serious about it, I would have been a part of a real clan way back when during CS 1.6.

The scrims we do at this point are mostly just for the experience and just for fun. I hope that by scrimming we aren't removing the fun from playing the game, especially with complications from the logistics of it all. At the point where it starts to feel like a 2nd (or 3rd) job is when we should probably take it easy and just go back to actually having fun and screwing around on our own. If you as an individual player want to continue being competitive, you should look into some of the clans that we play with/against, as they'll probably have a more fitting competitive environment than what just a bunch of old guys that own guns would have for you
