I did the update and trying to log in but password no longer work and email was send for changing the password. I check my email but no email.

You be able to do it from your PS3.

If not try to log on at: http://us.playstation.com/

Going take within a 24 hour for the email to show up...

got this message when logging on PSN from the playstation site.

Took about a hour or two for me to get the email.

The link I provided eariler is very helpful for long users of the PS3. What it does it 'Defrags' the PS3 hard drive in lame-mans terms. You would want to do it about every 2 week to 1 month depending on your use of the system.

HOW TO DEFRAGMENT A PS3

Or after a update/patch of either the games or system.

I noticed my PS3 is fast like new.

Sony expects to have all services in all countries fully restored by the end of May.

It will be offering customers a “welcome back” package of services and premium content. Details of the program for Australian PlayStation users will be announced soon, but Sony has previously stated that it will include:

The fine print has not been released as of yet. With the items listed expiring June 15th 2011.

I will keep this thread updated as information is released.

i trust my ps3 to work better than my xbox360 which had already done the red ring of death. or the fact that if i don't pay for live, i cannot use half of the content of all games i buy (cannot play online with paying for live).
