      Thanks!
Go daddy economy package is fine to start. They can seamlessly upgrade you down the road. I have been using it for years.

Additionally for a website I would strongly consider wordpress. Yes it is sold as a blogging software but it is much much more. Basically it is a content management system. What that means is that you can buy any of the 1000s of templates out there and then add content without knowing web design.

You still need a graphic designer and it would be good to get one who knows the platform you land on (wordpress or otherwise).

Making a store can be expensive. If it is full featured, budget $10-15,000. I'm not joking. I've been to this rodeo before. The other route is to go through a service like webstore.amazon.com if those items can be sold on amazon or yahoo's stores. They all take a cut though.

Drupal would be a better choice.

Drupal is an open source platform for building amazing digital experiences. It's made by a dedicated community. Anyone can use it, and it will always be free.

WP, Joomla and Drupal - and all CMS based site structures - have certain inherent flaws and lack the ability to really do fine server level customizations that only hand building and hand coding can accomplish.

BUT more and more IF your going to go that route, WP would be better as it has more users so more experience to draw from, more programmers making plugins and templates to select from, more regularly updated and improved, easier to use interface and I find to be more SEO friendly... though nothing is as SEO friendly as a hand built, clean hand coded, 100% CSS site using proper meta tags, title tags, H1 tags, sitemap.xml, ALT tags, proper volume and keyword rich content, etc

Besides many of my clients with them, I have personal site projects with them and don't have any real issues to mention. I have been with them for maybe +8 years or so as a guess. I use all of their hosting levels, mail servers, DNS, FTP servers, and know all of their interfaces pretty well, etc. and the only real issues I have had over time are email glitches at times with their mail servers getting overloaded. But, that is less of an issue if the client gets their own email servers and does not use mass public shared servers. But either way, they are my goto host and I have tried many before finding them. Their prices are great - and I get tons of promo codes I pass on to my clients to save them money - and they have so much automation services, it is an easy to use system.

My only real complaint is not having an 1800 number is kinda lame.
