    i am super super unhappy with this, if i start seeing my bill increase just because i play xbox and watch netflix i am dumping AT&T and i urge all of you to do the same

        think its time to look for a new provider ...

        just check last months usage

        February 2011 (Incoming: 149699 MB / Outgoing: 6120 MB) right on the edge and no gaming last month just netflixs and downloads

        and this months with only 14 days in March 2011 (Incoming: 107324 MB / Outgoing: 1819 MB)

        wonder how they will notify me when i get close, by a call or email ...lol

            I want FiOS or U-Verse but they don't offer it in my area, and I've heard Time Warner in the Irvine/Costa Mesa area is awful

                      I think them and Comcast are really doing this because of online content providers like Netflix.

                          I've been on cable for the past 9 years in LA. We've used DSL here & there since that was the only service available in certain locations (friends, work, family members.... AT&T and Verizon), but overall cable internet service was much faster and more reliable each time.

                          Never been on Comcast, but always on TWC and Charter. Never any problems with either.

                            I wanted AT&T for FiOS but now that they're doing this I'm very glad I went with Time Warner cable modem. In my Spanish speaking neighborhood I'm the only user so its not unusual to see 50 Mb/s downloads.
